Listening game

This game is both educational and fun for younger kids. The game exercises the child’s listening abilities by compelling them to concentrate.

You will need:

A lot of miscellaneous items that have a distinct sound

How to:

1. Collect items such as combs, vessels, remote, books, pens, bottles, toys, clocks, etc., which have unique sounds.
2. Place the items on the table and ask the child to make a mental note of them.
3. Take the items away and ask the kid to turn the other side or close his eyes.
4. Pick an item and make a sound with it. If the child guesses it correctly, he scores a point.

Quick tip:

You could use a blindfold to make sure the kid is not peeking!
